San-X Piggy Girl

Piggy Girl is the newest member of the San-X family. She loves all things feminine, perhaps to make up for the fact that she is a pig, and make-up she does. A tiny blue mouse accompanies her at all times, standing as her partner-in-crime or personal assistant. Piggy Girl spends most of her time in front of a vanity or soaking in a comfy bubble bath. 

Piggy Girl loves writing her friends when her daily beauty routine is complete, and even has her own stationery to accomplish this task. Her prep time for the photo used in the above letter set was over four hours! Piggy Girl loves spending time on herself but loves giving to others above all else. Rilakkuma Chocolate & Coffee

Rilakkuma's latest passion is gustatory! He and his friends have tired of dressing up in suits and instead opened a coffee shop specializing in chocolate. If Rilakkuma spends more time eating than working, well, who can blame him?

Relax Bear and Little Bear (Korilakkuma) often engage in chocolate-eating and coffee-drinking contests, with Kiiroitori (the yellow chick) as judge. If Rilakkuma knew that Kiiroitori sneaks in after hours to stuff himself with chocolate, Rilakkuma would certainly dump a pot of coffee down his chick suit! A little chocolate thievery won't sever the bond Rilakkuma shares with his friends, and Rilakkuma is friends with everyone. San-X: Mamegoma x Doughnuts

It's a ball, it's a doughnut, it's... Mamegoma! He's turned into his favorite sweet snack, eating his way across pens, folders, and notebooks. Mamegoma follows only the path of doughnuts, and is followed by his friends who are also doughnuts. They never have to stop to eat because doughnuts are everywhere!

When Mamegoma eats too many delicious treats he grows and grows and grows. He is currently able to fit neatly in your palm. His blue, yellow, and pink friends have also accomplished this feat. Mamegoma's most glorious realization is that everything is better with doughnuts.

Sentimental Circus Revisited

Shappo and company put on the cutest show in the universe with their adorable feats of wonder and daring. They dance across the pages of notepads and lovingly grace the smooth surfaces of pens, forever frolicking life's lovely hours away. When the city lights fall and day becomes night, Shappo summons his crew of pals and forgotten memories of childhood wonder blaze anew.

Mouton is an elephant, a weighty and majestic creature, elegant in stride and one of Shappo's best friends. He mainly sits on a striped pedestal and balances his favorite ball on the tip of his trunk. He can go for hours as he has mastered the laws of physics and always puts on a good show. He even has a plush clone to extend his fame after the circus curtain falls and the actors take their final bows.

Fresh Products: Sentimental Circus from San-X

The master of ceremonies in San-X's newest product line is Shappo, a rabbit puppet who flips, flops, and balances on the thinnest of ropes. He and his friends make magic and fun wherever they perform, bringing joy and cuteness into the lives of people and animals everywhere.

Shappo and his friends enjoy putting on secret shows for their favorite patrons. Mr. Bear rides his unicycle, Toto the ferret juggles three pins simultaneously, Kuro the owl defies gravity in his balancing act, the Piyos dance gracefully, Mouton the elephant monkeys around, and Rio the lion (pictured below) amazes all with his grace and elegance.

Character Study: San-X Kawaii Collection: Bunnies

Nobitto ("significant bit") is a happy-go-lucky creature who does yoga in his spare time. This enlightened, amorphous rabbit heals tired bodies and souls with his amazing mental powers. He elevates your chi with every hug he gives.

Rabby's Happy Diary is the most optimistic rabbit you will ever meet. With her positivity shining like a halo she will bring you good luck for the rest of your days. Her healthy attitude even keeps away the rain!

Taapun is surprisingly big and surprisingly cute. In fact, what defines his cuteness is his knack for popping up in the most unexpected of places, like our Kawaii stores.

Monroch (monochromatic) Rabbits Shiroshiro ("whitewhite") and Kurokuro ("blackblack") are like opposite sides of a coin: each enhances and complements the other, and one cannot exist without the other. These little wabbits walk the sky and surf the stars and are always ready to venture the adventures of life together.

Chou-fleur ("cauliflower") is the most girly of bunnies and loves her steamed cauliflower, dyed pink of course! She loves nature and animals, but her favorite love is polka dots. She even papers the ground with polka dots as she goes about her day in search of fun and happiness.

Yuugata Shokudou ("U-shaped cafeteria") are two twin bunnies, one pink and one white, who love to eat. Spending much of their time eating rather than studying, these twins plan to become chefs when they grow up. These siblings bake sweets and fry tofu like seasoned masters and always give leftovers to their friends.

Funwari Soraran ("airy sky dazzle") takes on rabbit form when he gets tired of being a cloud and often appears fuzzy around his edges. His permeability allows him to travel through any material but he enjoys his cloud form most of all.

Character Study: San-X Oyasumi Bakura Dream Spirit Tapir

Oyasumi Bakura is a pillow-shaped tapir who loves nothing better than sleeping! He serves as guardian of resting and guarantees sweet and pleasant dreams. This little guy inhabits jungle and forested regions when he's awake, patrolling the lands for unsuspecting creatures to cast his sleep-spell over.

Kamonohashikamo Platypus

Kamonohashikamo is an indecisive platypus that can't even be 100% sure that it IS a platypus or not. It is always unsure of anything it does, and often says "Kamo", which means "maybe". The hair on top of its head frequently tells its mood. When curious, it is in the shape of a question mark and when it thinks of an answer, it stands straight up. However, if Kamonohashikamo is too confused, the hair will curl up and Kamonohashikamo itself will turn white and freeze. Kamonohashikamo also has the ability to eat anything it wants, in one bite. Its favorite is the melon bun, sometimes even wearing it as a hat! 

  Kamonohashikamo is often accompanied by Harinezumikana, a little blue hedgehog (or maybe an echidna?) who, like Kamonohashikamo, frequently questions itself, though its favorite phrase is "Kana".

  

Also frequent companions of Kamonohashikamo are Ahirunano, a pair of mischievous twin ducks. They were hatched from an egg that Kamonohashikamo found, and the twin ducks love Kamonohashikamo like their mother. However, they are afraid of Kamonohashidasu.

 

The opposite of Kamonohashikamo is Kamonohashidasu, a black platypus who is certain of everything. It always responds sharply to Kamonohashikamo, and speaks flatly. Its favorite phrase is "Dasu" or "absolutely". Kamonohashidasu views the world as "black and white" with no in-between. 

Kireizukin Seikatsu

Mar is a lazy raccoon who spends most of the day sleeping, neglecting work that needs to be done and can't be bothered with daily chores. However, when he puts his red bandanna on, he becomes "Kireizukin" who absolutely loves cleaning! He cleans up everything, leaving his rooms sparkling clean and organized.

While cleaning, Kireizukin is accompanied by Mizuirozukin, a smaller raccoon with a blue bandanna, who's specialty is scrubbing and washing. Kireizukin is often taught new cleaning techniques by Mogura Sensei or "Mole Teacher". Mogura Sensei is an expert on cleaning and offers various advice and techniques on cleaning to Kireizukin. However, when Mogura Sensei becomes angry, he can be very scary!

 

Finally, there are the Hokori Friends. These are little dust-bunnies that are good friends with Mar, but are afraid of the cleaning-obsessed Kireizukin. They appear in large numbers all through the house, but go into hiding whenever Mar puts on his cleaning bandanna and changes into Kireizukin. It is said that Hokori Friends can be found in any house. Even yours!

                                                  

 

Kutusita Nyanko

Kutusita Nyanko, or more commonly called "Boots", is a back cat that wears white socks on his paws. However, it is said that his real name is actually "Bon Chan". Boots is a lovable black cat who lives with his owner "Papa", and two other cats. A shy, chocolate-colored cat named Bamichan, and a tiny, fluffy, white and cream colored kitten named Norutti, who was found by Boots and brought to Papa's home. Boots is also friends with a friendly gray kitten named Lossy, who belongs to a friend of Papa's. Typical of cat behavior, these cats are very playful and friendly, and very mischievous. 

 

Boots is very popular among cat-lovers, due to the fact he wears socks on all of his paws. Though papa must go to the "office" every day to fight for cat food (or so Boots thinks), Boots will travel along with papa whenever possible. While papa is not home, Boots spends his time adventuring with his friends, or helping to do chores around the house. Who wouldn't want a kitty like him?!
